Spring in Your Step MKAL Kit

Starting April 1st we will begin our second Mystery Knit Along for 2022, Spring in Your Step.

Select one color in your choice of Super Sport or Elite Sport (details below). You can select your colors from any Stock colors.

This will be a textured, lacy rectangular shawl or poncho with the option of making 4 different sizes (dimensions below).

Yarn:

• Super Sport:  100% Superwash Merino – 325 yds/100 gr, OR
• Elite Sport: 50% Silk, 50% Superwash Merino – 325 yds/100 gr

Sized:

• Small – 12” tall x 60” wide* – 2 skeins
• Medium – 21” tall x 69” wide* – 4 skeins
• Large– 28” tall x 78” wide* – 6 skeins
• XLarge – 33” tall x 87” wide* – 8 skeins

Needles US 4 (3.5 mm) 47”-60” circular needles, or size required to obtain gauge.  Needles available here.

Gauge  21 stitches & 28 rows per 4” (10cm) in unblocked stockinette stitch. Gauge will affect overall size and yarn requirements.

  • NOTE:  I used a US 4 (3.5mm), but as I am a loose knitter, you may need a US 5 or 6 for gauge. 
  • 47″ length should be good for all but the XLarge, which will require a 60″ length.
