London Shadows Shawl Kit Washington

We continued our year of Mystery shawls in London, England. The gothic architecture and history of this city inspired me to create a lacy crescent shaped shawl worked from the bottom up in a wonderful sport weight yarn base with optional beadwork.

Our lovely shawl is created from a single color of sport weight yarn. Beading is optional, but a great introduction to using beads.

Made from our Super Sport, sport weight yarn, which is 100% Superwash Merino, it is soft and plump and has great stitch definition.

For this kit, you will receive:

• Super Sport -2 skeins in Stained Glass
• Stitch Markers
• 500+ Japanese Glass Beads
• Floss stringer
• Ravelry pattern download code for any Cindy Garland Pattern.

You will need:

•  US 7 (4.5 mm) 47” (100 cm) circular needle
•  Tool to apply beads

Skills: The pattern is fully written out and charted. Basic knit increases and decreases (yo, k2tog, ssk) are included, but anything beyond that is explained in detail. We will be offering a good introduction to short rows, beading (optional) and lace.
