Embarkation MKAL Kit

Starting February 1st we will begin our first Mystery Knit Along for 2021, Embarkation!

Select two colors on Essential or Luxury bases from any Stock colors.

You have the option of making 4 different sizes (dimensions below).

Kit will include all yarn, stitch markers and beads for your size option.

Embarkation options:

Fingering Weight Bases:

• Essential – 100 % Superwash Merino, 435 yds per 100 grams
• Upgrade to Luxury – 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon, 425 yds per 100 grams

Kit Sizes:

• Half Circle
  • Short – 22” tall x 45” wide* – 1 sk MC & 1 sk CC
  • Long – 32” tall x 65” wide* – 2 sk MC & 2 sk CC
• Three Quarters Circle
  • Short – 45” tall x 45” wide* – 2 sk MC & 2 sk CC
  • Long – 65” tall x 65” wide* – 4 sk MC & 4 sk CC

Embarkation Optional Add-Ons:  

• Winding $5 Yarn ships in skeins, add this option if you’d like us to cake it before shipping
• Circular Needles – US 5 choice of length

Color Recommendations:

  • Keep some contrast between your two colors, bolder contrast = bolder finished look
    • Find a color that makes you happy for MC, then select your CC based on the following:
      • For a nautical look, pair your favorite Color with a neutral: Fog, Charcoal, Natural
      • For a bold look, pair your two favorite Colors
      • For a more subtle look, choose a Color and a monochromatic compliment, lighter or darker
