Ellis Island Shawl MKAL Kit

Starting January 1st, 2022, we will begin our first Mystery Knit Along for 2022, Ellis Island Shawl!

Select two colors on Essential or Serenity bases from any Stock colors.

You have the option of making 2 different sizes (dimensions below).

Kit will include all yarn, stitch markers and beads for your size option.

Ellis Island options:

Fingering Weight Bases:

• Essential – 100 % Superwash Merino, 435 yds per 100 grams
• Upgrade to Serenity – 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Silk, 400 yds per 100 grams

Kit Sizes:

• Small (39”x50”) 1 skein each MC/CC
• Large (56”x72”) 2 skeins each MC/CC

Ellis Island Optional Add-Ons:  

• Winding $5 Yarn ships in skeins, add this option if you’d like us to cake it before shipping
• Circular Needles – US 3 choice of length

  • Keep some contrast between your two colors, bolder contrast = bolder finished look
    • Find a color that makes you happy for MC, then select your CC based on the following:
      • For a bold look, pair your two favorite Colors
      • For a more subtle look, choose a Color and a monochromatic compliment, lighter or darker
