Come Sail Away Shawl Kit

This airy and elegant half circle shawl with textured stitches and lace winding from the top of this shawl all the way to the scalloped bottom edge, separated by growing panels of lace dotted with optional beads.

Knit from the top down, the simple pattern is easy to knit while not being boring.

Originally released as the Special Bonus Kit for the 2021 Stunning Mystery Society shawl club, it is now available as a stand alone pattern or a full kit from Stunning String Studio in your choice of colors.

Made from our luxurious Bountiful Fingering Weight yarn. Made of 100% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester (BFL), it is soft and comfortable in warm or cool conditions.

For this kit, you will receive:

Yarn in Color of your choosing

• Bountiful – 655 yards (150 grams) in 1 skein/cake – Shown in Opera Gloves
• 11 Stitch Markers
• 850+ Japanese glass 6/0 Seed Beads
• Ravelry pattern download code for any Cindy Garland Pattern.

You will need:

•  US 6 (4.0 mm) 40” (100 cm) circular needle
•  Tool to apply beads

Skills: The pattern is fully written out and charted. Basic knit increases and decreases (yo, k2tog, ssk) are included, but anything beyond that is explained in detail. We will be offering a good introduction to beading.
