Angel 2.0 One Color Kit

Yarn kits for Steve Malcolm’s, Barrington Knits, Angel 2.0 in your choice of color.  Angel 2.0 is a heavily cabled shrug featuring strategically placed transitions from a simple 2×2 rib to a cabled rib, Open Cable, Saxon Braid, Barrington Braid, and finally an Angel Braid then all the way back again.

This is our Twinkle Fingering Weight yarn. Made of 70% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon, and 5% Silver Stellina. It is amazingly soft and has a light silver sparkle that makes it fun and elegant.

For this kit, you will receive:
Angel 2.0 pattern via Ravelry download code
Yarn:  Twinkle – 5 skeins (shown in Natural)
1 Progress Keeper/Stitch Marker
1 Cable Needle

You will need:
– US 6 (4.0 mm) 24” (80 cm) circular needle

Skills: While it looks incredibly intricate, because you start with a simple rib and work the transitions as you go, by the time you get to it you’re already comfortable with the intricate nature of the cable.

The ability to read charts is recommended for this pattern, although you could write out the instructions for the braids. It’s also recommended to learn how to cable without a cable needle. This pattern is perfect for a first or second endeavour at that as it will give you lots of practice with none of the cables using more than 4 stitches.

Sizes: Small, Medium/Large, Large.  Kit will do all sizes.
